FAQs

What is creative writing?
Creative writing requires students to write either a short story or a description, sometimes based on a text or an image. GoTutorials’ pupils creative writing can show vast improvements in just a few lessons.

What is non-fiction writing?
An exercise such as writing an informal letter, report or newspaper article, something GoTutorials’ founder, Amanda Eccleston, as a former TV and newspaper and magazine journalist, is uniquely placed to explain to students. However, 11+ exams are increasingly demanding fiction and non-fiction combined!

Planning, creativity and executing a well-written piece in a structured manner, all within a tight time frame, is demanded. With GoTutorials’ exclusive formula, your child will be on their way to success.

Examiners are looking for specific content, which GoTutorials ensures our students include in their writing. We constantly review our students’ work, monitoring their progress and providing feedback.

What is comprehension?
Comprehension demands an understanding of text inferences, something GoTutorials, as specialists in all levels of school studies, including Oxbridge entrance, are uniquely equipped to explain.
